Urban Insider Tour
½ day. Berlin is a living “creature” and it's always interesting to see how the city´s development
takes shape. Your personal guide presents the city's history, urban development and its
dynamic world.
This is a sightseeing tour for those who want to see the traditional top attractions as well as
explore more edgy highlights beyond the tourist track. We give our visitors the chance to
look behind the city's scenery where many surprises and secrets are to be detected. There
are hidden oases, historic sites, cool neighbourhoods and odd architecture, which the visitors
probably would not discover so easily on their own. We focus on the Old versus the
New Berlin but your guide also reveals stories about Berlin's vibrant nightlife, trends, culture
life, high unemployment, scandals, the creative scene and subcultures which influence the
city.
We end the tour with a short walk by foot in the new epicentre of Eastberlin (the jewish neighbourhood) where we check up
picturesque courtyards, art galleries, shops and visit a old ball room from the roaring twenties.
This area is perfect to discover on your own after the tour.
Tour highlights: Museuminsel, Bebelplatz, Unter den Linden, Brandenburger Gate, jewish
Holocaust memorial, Reichstag, Potsdamer Platz, die Strasse der 17. Juni, Siegessäule,
